Receptionist
London, Cardinal Place
Permanent, 30 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 12:00-18:00)
Up to £21,000 per annum dependent on experience, plus benefits


Here at Serco, we are seeking a receptionist to provide professional reception support to external visitors, guests, and employees. The ideal candidate will ensure all visitors to the site feel welcomed ad all queries are answered. You will be representing the business with a positive attitude and professional appearance.


As part of this role you’ll:


  • Provide hospitality, meeting room management, visitor management, and basic maintenance.
  • Overseeing the control of incoming parcels and deliveries in-line with outlined procedures.
  • Ensuring a detailed handover is provided to either the afternoon receptionist or the evening security guard to ensure they are aware of key activities or meetings still taking place.
  • Prepare and deliver hospitality orders such as food and beverage lunches.
  • Place stationary orders and maintain first aid box stock levels.


What you’ll need to do the role


First and foremost, you’ll need to have strong written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer focus. You will be familiar with the Microsoft Suite, specifically Outlook and Word to ensure admin tasks are adhered too. You will have some experience booking meeting rooms and a good understanding of facilities management. You will be able to work well as part of a team as well as managing your own workload to ensure tasks are completed. Lastly, you will be able to multi-task whilst still remaining calm and professional.
