Great Bear is a leading 3rd party logistics business providing a wide range of ambient warehousing services, shared-user and dedicated transport solutions to a wide variety of customers alongside offering a flexible mix of added-value services to simplify supply chain. We operate over 7 million sq.ft. of warehousing space across 30+ locations in the UK. Our distribution network spans all corners of the country.

Our Mansfield site are now recruiting for an Operations Analyst on a full time basis.

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 Per annum

Working hours: Monday to Friday (9am-5pm)


Job Description


The purpose of an Operations Analyst is to deliver operations reports, import data into templates provided and to develop reports that will assist the operations to make informed decisions.


Key Duties of an Operations Analyst:

  • Timely reporting of standard data sets to the operational leadership teams.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of complex data to gather insights.
  • Maintenance and reporting of the sites Performance Management tool.
  • Maintenance and reporting of the sites planning model taking into account: volume, labour and work content variables.
  • Assist in the creation, development and maintenance of regular reporting processes for all departments.
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis for the whole site.
  • Compile monthly review to allow monitoring of the site’s activities.
  • Report any data or systems problems/issues that may arise.

Qualifications
  • Exceptional analytical data skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised to agreed deadlines.
  • Be able to communicate clearly, explaining in appropriate detail reports to all levels.
  • Advanced MS Excel and Access.
  • SQL skills.
  • Knowledge of VBA.
  • WMS experience.
  • Problem-solving skills.
