Salary: Up to £29,400 – depending on experience

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Customer Directorate as a Customer Advisor within the Business Income department. Reporting to the Customer Team Manager, you will be responsible for building effective relationships with our customers and internal stakeholders.
In addition, you will provide an accurate and efficient Accounts Receivable service, ensuring the correct allocation of payments for all stakeholders. You will provide written or verbal advice to customers’ invoice queries. You will also be proactive in ensuring that finances are managed effectively, customers are billed correctly, and any outstanding payments are collected. You will be able to offer advice on the payment options available and negotiate payment arrangements where necessary.

About you

We are looking for proven communication skills and individuals who relish taking ownership and responsibility to meet the needs of our customers.
We have a one team culture, so you will need to be flexible to the needs of the department and have excellent time management skills to manage a varied workload.
You will be solution-focused individual with the ability to problem-solve using first-class numerical skills and attention to detail.
Experience within an Accounts Receivable team or collections department would be desirable but not essential.
You will be self-motivated and have proven experience meeting targets and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
