We’re looking for an Operations Supervisor to join the Res Life team!

About the role:

This role includes the running of the student accommodation during the academic year and running the hotel operation during the summer months, and successfully planning for this in the preceding months.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day running of a section of university accommodation
  • Management of an operational team of cleaners
  • Coordinating and overseeing operations, including workforce and resources
  • Ensuring effective communication, and that staff well-being is considered

This role is eligible for the Campus Services New Starter bonus*. Apply today and if you are appointed, receive an additional £500 one month after starting and £500 on successfully passing your probation period (six months). Please note this bonus is pro rata for part time roles.

About you:

  • Experience in an administrative role
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent service in a customer facing role
  • Experience training and managing staff
  • Awareness of Health & Safety relating to the role
  • Experienced with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities

The role requires you to work 5 days out of 7, therefore some weekend working is expected.
