Working within Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Specialty Diagnostic Group, for the Microbiology Division (MBD), this role provides a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with manufacturing / operations experience who is looking to join a global organisation that supports individuals to develop and achieve their best. The objective of this role is to support the Sr Finance Manager – Europe, Emerging Markets & AsiaPac, in handling manufacturing sites with emphasis on working with the operational and quality teams.
This role will be initially responsible for supporting our Perth manufacturing site with a view to progress towards supporting other sites in the region. The job holder would work closely with the site management teams. This would involve exposure to multiple operational and manufacturing issues within the business that would prepare the jobholder for future career development within Thermo Fisher Scientific.
The role will be based at the Perth facility with an option for hybrid working arrangement for the right person. Occasional travel to other sites may also be required.
