ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are currently recruiting for a motivated, reliable and customer focused Cleaner / Cleaning Operative to join our team based in The Village, Stockton on the Forest, York, YO32 9UN
Job Type: Permanent - Full Time.
Pay Rate: £10.42 per hour.
Working Hours: 37.5 Hrs per week, 8 Hrs per day, Tuesday to Saturday - 07:00Hrs to 15:00 Hrs (can be a bit flexible for public transport)
Start Date: Immediately
As a cleaning operative you will be in charge of undertaking cleaning duties across the site ensuring a complete cleaning service is provided in compliance with CQC and Health & safety Regulations.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Make sure that our customers have a better day, every day by ensuring that your assigned areas are clean, presentable and serviceable at all times.
- Present and conduct yourself in a professional, courteous and appropriate manner in accordance with the Company policies, procedures, guidelines and values.
- To carry out all duties required in connection with the cleaning and waste collection within designated premises.
- This job can be physically demanding and can involve some lifting from time-to-time.
- Comprehensive cleaning (washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, dusting etc..) ensuring the service meets high standards of Hygiene and cleanliness.
- To organise and assist with laundry duties and rotas
- Using and storing of cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations

Previous experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided.
