For us, facilities management is not a back-office function. We're looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to join the Portfolio Leadership Team for the National Trust's Mid Ulster properties. Leading the Facilities team across several country house properties, you'll be responsible for facilities management, maintenance and compliance across the properties, working collaboratively with our wider teams to ensure the safe, sustainable and effective operation of our properties.

What you'll be doing:Based at The Argory, you’ll be leading work to ensure our fire, environmental, health and safety & security compliance is first rate and making sure we plan well for emergencies.
As part of the property team, you’ll report to the General Manager, and be responsible for the running of all aspects of facilities management across our properties, making sure we are safe and compliant.
You'll directly manage 3 part-time staff , working closely with our building surveyor, estate manager and property teams and consultancy advisers, in addition to managing contractors and developing volunteering opportunities in your area of work.
The role also takes a lead in our efforts to reduce our environmental footprint, so by monitoring and analysing our energy use you’ll help deliver a reduction in energy consumption.
