Sustained growth has led to this weighty opportunity for a Software Engineer with experience in Java/Spring or Python plus AWS cloud services to join their team in Newbury.

The challenging brief will be to develop high performance back-end systems using Java and/or Python; use AWS cloud technologies to help scale their platform; take technical ownership of key areas of functionality; use an agile development approach with a focus on TDD.

The Software Engineer will need:

• Degree in software engineering related subject or equivalent experience
• Extensive hands on coding skills
• Java/Spring or Python
• AWS cloud services
• Strong Linux
• Knowledge of AWS IoT Core, AWS Kinesis, AWS Lambda, AWS API gateway
• Relational Databases
• Cloud deployment architectures
• Secure and scalable microservices
• Skilled with web architecture
