Are you an experienced Record to Report Manager looking for a new and exciting opportunity?

SSCL are looking for a R2R Subject Matter Expert to influence on a rebid project. In the position you will have the opportunity to be creative and design the solution for your business area, presenting to senior internal stakeholders and external clients. This role is multidimensional and will come with both its rewards and challenges, you will work closely with a range of SME's in different sectors making it a great opportunity to expand your own knowledge!

This will be a hybrid role with a lot of initial activity taking place from home but during crucial parts of the bid travel to London and other locations will be required.

What you'll be doing:

  • Familiarisation of the work of each of the different strands of R2R work. This may involve some knowledge acquisition from the teams prior to moving full time to the bid team
  • Provide timely and accurate material for inclusion in bid preparatory work or bid responses in order to fully demonstrate SSCL’s capability
  • With minimum supervision, assist in the provision of information for Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and RFI responses so that SSCL is successfully positioned to move to the next stage of the procurement
  • Support the aspects of proposals, such as organising reviews, distributing meeting inputs/outputs etc. in order to support the wider bid team
  • Assist the bid team in ensuring the latest technologies and process improvements are considered as part of the bid proposals
  • Support the bid with the development of plans and the monitoring of progress against tasks so that timely completion of activities is achieved
  • Creation/enhance brand-compliant collateral to make the best material available for bid responses. Input to the content creation for written responses and proposals
  • Analyse data sets relevant to R2R and be able to translate them into relevant materials and decision making
  • Undertake mini projects/assignments as required in order to provide research material, develop best practice or support bid activities
  • Be able to present and engage in client sessions, answering questions on the solution area and taking actions
  • Input into the workforce modelling for R2R and solution state team structures

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in the R2R environment with some expertise in at least one area (eg general ledger, non current assets, cash management, Orgs & structures)
  • Finance accounting background
  • Strong time management skills and experience adhering to deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team
  • Ability to absorb large amounts of information, organise, introduce structure and summarise details in a clear format
  • Experience managing several stakeholders

It would be great if you had:

  • AAT or Part qualified professional
  • Previous knowledge of SSCL clients and processes
  • Previous experience with bids and contract renewals

Salary: £35,000 - 50,000 per annum dependent on experience
