Job Description

Are you a looking to join a dynamic and successful contractor on a permanent basis? My client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing business in the Central Belt.

Your Role

  • Measurement of quantities
  • Preparation of monthly valuations and final accounts
  • Identifying, valuing and agreeing variations
  • Monthly cost - value reconciliations
  • Supporting more junior members of the team
  • Preparation of bills of quantities
  • Sub-contractor payments
  • Appointing and liaising with sub-contractors throughout the projects

Your Experience

  • Degree Qualified within Quantity Surveying
  • Knowledge of NEC Contracts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a professional manner
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to work on own initiative and prioritise own work.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to plan work accordingly.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NEC Contracts and Bills of Quantities
  • Able to respond to commercial opportunities and threats
  • Experience of working in a commercial environment and to strict reporting deadlines
