Job Description

Due to our continued success and ambitious growth plans at Foot Anstey, we are looking for an enthusiastic HR Administrator to join our HR team in Plymouth on a permanent basis. In this role you will be joining a team of 8 friendly HR Administrators and HR Advisors, led by Kerri O'Driscoll (People and Reward Manager). This is a varied generalist role, where you will work with colleagues across HR to provide support where needed on administrative tasks relating to recruitment/starters and leavers, performance, employee wellbeing, benefits and payroll. You'll take pride in delivering a professional and efficient service to internal and external clients and be well organised in your work.

What you'll do:

  • Provide general support to HR team members with a range of administrative tasks which could include:
    • Data inputting, data reporting, and dealing with the preparation and analysis of Management Information as requested from time to time
  • Collate information and produce letters in conjunction with HR colleagues relating to communications with employees across a range of confidential matters
  • Coordinate interviews with candidates on behalf of our Recruitment/Talent Acquisition team
  • Recruitment onboarding, working with colleagues to progress offer documentation (letters, contracts of employment, job descriptions), and onboarding activities (pre-employment checks, references and sanctions checks)
  • Create new employee records, including personnel files, ensuring information is complete and accurate up to receipt of references for handover to the HR team
  • Provide updates to internal teams regarding new initiatives or enhanced benefits offerings to our people
  • Project work including assisting with improvements to our careers pages and adoption of new technologies and platforms
  • End to end process management for a range of core HR activities such as leavers, probation, contract changes etc.
  • And as a valued member of the team, you will be the go to person for first line HR queries and support.

What we're looking for:

  • Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Highly organised, with excellent planning and administration skills, experience of working to deadlines, juggling workload and priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Fully proficient across the Microsoft Office suite with good Excel skills
  • Personal accountability and ability to demonstrate integrity throughout all work delivered
  • The ability to review processes and identify areas of improvement/efficiencies
  • The ability to demonstrate excellent examples of adaptability, initiative and ownership
  • A good team player who can work effectively in a multi-site business and team environment.
