At Crowdhelix we're looking for a Marketing Manager to build our brand and deliver impact

Full-time · Remote / London

About the Role

Crowdhelix is an Open Innovation platform that forges links between an international network of excellent researchers and innovating companies, so that they can plan, deliver, and exploit pioneering collaborative projects and value chains.

This newly created Communication and Marketing Manager role is focused on using communication and channel expertise to build our brand and deliver acquisition into our Marketing and Sales pipeline. This role is ultimately responsible for developing high quality customer communication, marketing and digital content that provides opportunities for engagement and relationship building with key stakeholders and potential new clients.

In addition to managing the day-to-day marketing activities you will contribute to the strategic marketing plan to raise our brand profile, support platform development, and increase social media presence within our project network.

What you'll be doing:

  • Communication - producing compelling and creative communications, content strategies and campaigns. The role is hands on, you will be a strong writer with excellent proofreading skills.
  • Taking a Scientific Approach - ability to convey and present complex information in a responsible, accurate and accessible way, for a range of different audiences.
  • Marketing Planning - produce an annual marketing communications plan utilising the full communication mix.
  • Events - support our events Manager in delivering brand representation at Crowdhelix events including lead generation and promotional seminars.
  • Reporting - you will report on progress in delivering the marketing communications plan, related results and ROI.
  • CRM - you will help monitor and improve the performance of our customer retention for Sales and Marketing.
  • Channel Improvement - you will suggest ways to improve social and digital channel.
  • Product Marketing - with the support of the Marketing exec you will design and build material such as welcome packs and templates for new members.
  • Website Development - work alongside technology to update and improve our platform for new and returning customers.
  • Management - and development of the Marketing Exec and Marketing Intern.

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for someone able to fulfil the following criteria:

Qualifications, knowledge, and experience:

  • A degree in Marketing or English is essential
  • 5+ years in a similar Communications / Marketing Role

You will also have experience of:

  • Press Relationships
  • Email & CRM
  • Social
  • Marketing asset creation
  • Presentation skills

Our offer

This is a full-time role (35 hours per week). The successful candidate can be remote or based in our London offices.

The salary is competitive and dependant on experience. All of our salaries are subject to annual increases to reflect cost of living inflation, as well as annual advancement through pay increments to reflect experience gained on the job.

We also offer 25 days of holiday per year in addition to bank holidays, with extra days granted for long service (1 additional pro rata day per full year of service, up to 5 extra pro rata total per annum).
