Job Description

Verve people are looking for Kitchen Porters who are full of enthusiasm and are eager to gain experience in kitchen environments, to join our Back of House team.

Our consultant team have a wealth of experience in the industry and will work with you to find your ideal kitchens, help you manage your schedule and give you any assistance you might need.

Using our scheduling software, you can view all upcoming opportunities (including full details of hours, location and pay) and book your selection, as well as set any of your unavailability within the app.

Whether you are looking for 4 hours a week or over 40, you will be able to manage this easily wherever you are.

Our clients include Restaurants, Hotels, Stadia, Arenas, Universities and more!
Working for Verve as a Kitchen Porter, you will be:

  • Maintaining clean and tidy Back of House areas
  • Cleaning equipment, utensils, crockery, and cutlery and ensuring availability of each in the correct areas
  • Operating the industrial dishwashing machine
  • Maintaining Back of House areas to the highest standards
  • Assisting with food preparation, when requested
  • Working and communicating effectively within the kitchen team and with Front of House team members
  • Completing due diligence and ensuring full compliance with relevant Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations (training provided)
