Team/Function Overview

The Business Support team focuses on production issue resolution, general support and maintenance, Project engagement

Role / Position Overview

The role holder will be involved in day to support of our BAU deliveries (ABOR & IBOR) multi regional. The successful candidate will also form part of the key on call team providing overnight escalated support to our colleagues in Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities:

• To utilise technical and analytical skills
• To work in partnership with the business to ensure timely issue resolution
• Provide support to the Funds Administration business and liaise with the application vendors and technology on their behalf
• Test vendor/application solutions
• To successfully manage and co-ordinate any parameter changes within the applications
• Liaise with our virtual teams
• Understand the business, our operating model and service offering and the importance of Service Level Agreements.
• Know and engage all relevant stakeholders when necessary
• Have an acute awareness of risk and continually seek to improve and tighten controls
• To successfully manage work allocated
• Monitoring of deliveries to clients
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and ensure timely escalation of issues is adhered too.

Criteria/Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:

• Fund Accounting knowledge
• Good understanding of financial instruments (Bonds, Equities, CD/CP, Dividends, Deposits, FX, ETD, OTC, etc.)
• Third party administration experience
• Experience of using or supporting Multifonds is highly appreciated
• Experience of working with colleagues from a remote office and different time zones

Skills:

• Excellent organization and analytical skills
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to details
• Good working knowledge of MS applications, especially MS Excel. MS Access advantageous but not essential

Competencies

• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects to meet tight timescales
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
