Job Description


As event operations manager the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our live events portfolio in America and in Europe. The role will require end-to-end management of different projects simultaneously while ensuring that all events are delivered successfully. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years’ experience of organizing large scale events and conferences, project driven, has excellent communication and people skills with a creative and entrepreneurial approach and the ability to work under pressure.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Planning and delivering all live events to a high standard and within budget
  • Overseeing all aspects of onsite management including buildupand load out, transportation and traffic management, registration, build productions, delegate and sponsor management, crowd management and coordination of venue and vendor teams of security, AV, catering and supporting staff
  • Managing event budgeting and logistics
  • Contracting and liaising with all venue suppliers
  • Communicating and working closely with internal departments to ensure that all deadlines are met
  • Produce all necessary event management plans including safety plan, risk assessment, permissions, crew staffing etc
  • Prepare and present post event evaluation

Qualifications
  • Fluency in French is a must (written and oral)
  • A proven track record of a minimum of 2 years’ experience of delivering large scale events
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong numeric for reporting and budgeting
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Customer oriented with a “can Do” attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Passion and willingness to travel
