A unique opportunity has arisen for a Childcare Legal Assistant to join a specialist law firm in the West Midlands. Their strong reputation is built on genuine client relationships and strong expertise throughout the firm.

About the role

This Legal Assistant role will allow the successful applicant to work on a varied workload that includes:

• Assisting with casework including dealing with a range of Family matters

• Preparing and managing funding applications to the Legal Aid Agency

• Digital dictation transcription and collating bundles

• Taking telephone calls and dealing with correspondence

• Managing and organising large volumes of documents

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least six months of Legal Assistant (preferably Childcare) experience

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills

• Ability to work well to deadlines

• Ties to the West Midlands
