This role, reporting into the Business Development Manager at Newcastle College, is to support the Business Development Consultants processing paperwork and to offer and provide information advice and guidance about the Newcastle College Apprenticeship to employers in the Northeast.
Key to the role is to support Business Development Consultants throughout the apprenticeship enrolment process including assisting employers signing up onto the DAS system and with any potential additional recruitment needs. The Business Development Apprentice promotes and engages employers in the full training offer available from Newcastle College, with a principal focus on the recruitment of new employees, the up-skilling of the current workforce and support the Business Development Consultants with the development of large employer based skills agreements.
As part of this role you would be studying a L2 Customer service apprenticeship. On successful completion of the apprenticeship there may be an opportunity for you to become a permanent staff member with Newcastle College business development team.
