Job Description

The main responsibilities for the role include:

• Taking control of the larger more complex building repairs including building defects and party wall matters.
• Managing the procurement and tendering processes for the housing association.
• Creating reports, maintaining records regarding staff and contractor performance as well as maximising control of the budgets.
• Delivering the projects to a high standard in order for complete customer satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

The building surveyor will have to demonstrate:

• Experience in building surveying and a knowledge of construction methods.
• Knowledge or running multiple complex building projects at the same time.
• A good understanding of managing large budgets and producing a cash flow forecast reports.
• Experience in applying CDM 2015 principles to tenders and contracts.
