The role is ideal for newly qualified accuracy checking technicians who want to work in a busy and dynamic hospital pharmacy. Applicants with a retail pharmacy background are welcome to apply for this post as on the job training will be provided for all aspects of the role. Any new qualified technicians without an Accuracy Checking qualification will be considered for this post and a Band 4 to Band 5 developmental plan will be offered.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day activities within the pharmacy department at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre Pharmacy such as general dispensing, drug distribution, chemotherapy desk, patient counselling and associated pharmaceutical duties.
