Middlesbrough: the place to live, work and visit! A diverse, and lively town, proud of its heritage and ambitious to shape its future. Home of the famous “Parmo” and proud owners of the “Transporter Bridge.”
Children’s Services in Middlesbrough have been working hard to improve over the last few years and we have steady improvements as evidenced in our regular Ofsted monitoring visits.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Team Manager to join our Multi-Agency Children’s Hub. You will work as part of a dynamic Multi-Agency Integrated Team assessing notifications and referrals regarding children aged 0 - 18. The Team is co-located with Cleveland Police, HDFT 0-19, IDVA, Early Help, Education and Housing, alongside other key stakeholders.
We are a fast paced but driven team! In May 2021 Ofsted stated “The multi-agency children’s hub (MACH) has continued to strengthen and build on the improvements that had been identified at the monitoring visit in August 2020. Children’s risks and needs are identified through a thorough screening process that is timely and proportionate. When risks to children increase, strategy meetings in the MACH are well attended. The meetings consider information from all partner agencies, who jointly rate the risk to children to support appropriate decision-making about next steps.
The MACH is a fast-paced environment so we will need you to be able to think on your feet, as well as be able to pause and make well considered, evidence-based decisions, which manage risks for our children of Middlesbrough.
