Due to our sustained period of growth, OCU Utility Services now have a new opportunity for a Junior Administrator to join our Streetworks team working on a variety of contracts, based out of our North Wales office in Deeside.

Are you a college leaver wanting to become a successful administrator within the Utilities sector?

This is an excellent opportunity to learn new skills and develop into the working world, full training will be provided with lots of support and career route opportunities within the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Full training and support will be provided for all duties required below:

  • Preparation, submission and updating of Streetworks notices in compliance with current legislation.
  • Monitor client systems to deliver client specific requirements if required.
  • Communicate with operational staff to identify critical areas of client delivery.
  • Receive and record data onto work management systems.
  • Supply updates to clients in various forms of communication to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Update management systems within specified timescales and deliverables within the contract requirements.
  • Liaise with operational teams to ensure all projects have the appropriate paperwork and notices in place for works to begin.
  • Distribute daily NRSWA reports and carry out jeopardy management tasks for all relevant orders.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong Microsoft Office, Excel skills.
  • Team player, but also capable of working as an individual.
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask, a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines.
  • Able to work in a busy environment under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Possess a positive attitude and provide support to other members of the team as required.
