Hiring 1x graduate electronics design

Location: Wrexham, North Wales

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000

** This is a onsite role, you MUST be local or happy to relocate to Wrexham**

My client are a small but expanding company (team of 7 people) developing and manufacturing electronics and embedded software for motor control systems in Aerospace and defence applications.

They have capacity to hire 1x graduate electronics design engineer.

The role would be quite varied and quite hectic at times so we need somebody who would be happy to work in that environment. (i.e. ability to learn skills quickly and become a good all-rounder).

You will work on a variety of projects in various industry’s:

• Aerospace (Civil & Military)
• Defence & Military (Land, Sea & Air)
• Nuclear
• Industrial Control Systems

For an electronics graduate we are looking for:

• A degree in Electronic Engineering (equivalent qualifications or experience will be considered)
• Basic electronics design experience, embedded software, control systems, MATLAB/Simulink skills but not essential.
• Previous use of schematic capture and PCB layout tools would be advantageous
• A desire to learn a broad range of Electronic skills
• Follow a design through the full design process
• Show initiative in exploring all aspects of the skills needed to design and test
• An interest in embedded design, including writing firmware in C
• A willingness to learn and ability to innovate.
