Are you a graduate Quantity Surveyor with experience in a contractual commercial environment? My client is seeking a Billing Assistant to be part of an exciting project for one of the world's leading industrial technology companies in Renfrew.

Your Role

• Monitoring and tracking of all contractual notifications, Compensation Events and Task Order Quotations
• All administrative elements of managing an NEC Contract including the maintenance of additional works trackers and filing systems
• Develop, with support, the skills necessary to undertake costing activities related to additional works
• Preparation and submission, initially under direction, of contractual notifications, Compensation Events and Task Order Quotations
• Be competent, initially under direction in advising Project personnel on contractual requirements
• Develop the skills necessary to provide cover during Quantity Surveyors absence and deputise when required

Your Experience

• Experience in assisting a commercial team or recent graduates in quantity surveying with some recent work experiences are particularly sought
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a professional manner
• Able to demonstrate the ability to work on own initiative and prioritise own work
• An enthusiastic, independent, team player, who is clear thinking and strives for attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to plan work accordingly
• A working knowledge of NEC Contracts and Bills of Quantities
• Able to respond to commercial opportunities and threats
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 and computer packages
• Experience of working in a commercial environment and to strict reporting deadlines

Your Rewards

• £330 per day CIS
• Three month contract initially with potential to extend
• Open office environment with occasional travel to regional offices
