Sweet Things, an Award Winning bakery and cafe, located in the heart of beautiful Primrose Hill (only a 5 minute walk from Chalk Farm station), is looking for a permanent café team member to join our team full time for 5 days ie 40 hours a week including weekends. We have been open for 11 years with a really loyal customer base. Looking for someone enthusiastic who has a passion for good food and drink, and excellent customer service. We have a team of 4 to 7 staff working in the ground floor shop/cafe, with our bakery downstairs. The Sweet Things range includes all sorts of cakes, cupcakes, brownies, toasties, bagels and more! Based in Primrose Hill, close to the park, Sweet Things is well known for high quality products, having won numerous Great Taste Awards for our baked goods. 40 hours per week including weekends. Shift hours are generally 8 or 9 hours between 7.30am and 6pm. Barista experience preferable. We use Monmouth Coffee, with a la Marzocco machine. This is not a pure Barista role, it also involves till work, customer service, working with food including making sandwiches and more. A passion for good customer service and consistent quality. Love of good cakes and coffee a must. Applicants must be friendly, reliable and organized, good at working in a team.
